Our special Village Peddler bread & butter pickles. Bread and butter pickles are built on a sweet pickle base, but celery seeds and coriander are added for a tangier finish.
Why are they called "bread & butter pickles"? One theory is that during the Depression, soft, chewy white bread with butter and pickles was a low-cost meal with ingredients that were easy to find.

Ingredients: cucumbers, water, sugar, vinegar, onions, peppers, salt, mustard seed, celery seed, spices, turmeric for color.
